Ofada Rice & Stew

Ingridients:
Ofada Rice, palm oil, scotch bonnet pepper, 2 pieces of green bell pepper, assorted/beef/pomo, locust beans, onion, stock cube, salt.

Preparation

Wash both scotch bonnet pepper and green bell pepper and blend roughly with a ball of onion

Slice onion.
Boil beef/assorted/pomo with salt, onion, stock cube, ginger & garlic.

Directions:
Because ofada rice are known to have stones that looks exactly like grains of rice, BRANDED/NON - BRANDED please pour in a tray and pick out stones

WASH rice properly and boil on a medium heat for 25minutes with half spoon of salt
If it's the NON-BRANDED OFADA rice then please let it go through the parboiling process for 10 minutes & place back on medium heat for 15 minutes
most of the BRANDED Rice has gone through processing.

OFADA STEW:
Place your pot on a medium heat for 1 minutes
Bleach palm oil by pouring oil into the pot for 4 minutes. The oil will change its colour to dark see-through red.

Add your sliced onion for 2 minutes.
Add your blended pepper for 10 minutes on a medium heat and stir.
Add your assorted/beef/pomo and leave for 3 minutes.
Add locust beans, maggi, & salt for taste and stir
on a medium heat for 5 minutes.
NOTE!!! Ofada stew & Ayamase are two different stew.. Ayamase stew is the trending stew for Ofada Rice and can be used to fulfill the mission of normal rice as well as Ofada stew..
